Candle Care & Safety Tips
To ensure the longevity of your candles, store them in a cool, dark, and dry place. If your candle has a cover, replace it once the wax has solidified. Avoid direct sunlight or indoor lighting, as this can cause colors to fade. When lighting your candle for the time, allow it to burn until the wax melts to the edges of the vessel, which may take 3 to 4 hours, to prevent tunneling and ensure an even burn.
Before each use, trim the wick to promote a steady flame and minimize sooting or mushrooming. Be cautious not to burn the candle for longer than the recommended time to avoid overheating, which can damage the vessel. If you don't have a snuffer, you can dip the wick back into the wax to extinguish the flame without excessive smoking.
